Problem With Snipping Tool

I've encountered a problem when using the Snipping Tool that seems to be related to either my Windows profile or the OS itself.  To be clear, the problem manifests itself when using the Snipping Tool...

I have the identical problem and symptoms that you do. I'm on Win11 25H2 Build 26200.7623 (latest RTM version as of today 1/19/26) and it's still happening.

 

Have you found any solution?

    Unfortunately, not yet.  I did a capture on Friday using Process Monitor and have been trying to line up events in the capture file with the failed screen captures, but so far no success.  I will post here if I find something useful.
