Possible to play a legacy CDROM Game on Windows 11?

I recently came across an old CD from a magazine that I'd like to play on my computer. The CD is labeled as compatible with Windows 95/98/NT, but my computer runs on the more modern Windows 11 Home. The question is, will I be able to play this old CD on my current system?

Once the virtual machine is set up, insert the CD (you may need to configure the virtual machine to recognize the CD drive or use an ISO image of the CD) and install the game.

Some classic games have had dedicated fan communities that create patches or ports to run on modern systems. A quick Google search of the game title followed by "Windows 11 patch" or "modern fix" can lead you to helpful resources.

Connect a USB DVD drive and run the games from an emulator on Windows 11.
