Please Extend UEFI partition size during installation
Dear Microsoft Development,
I have now encountered the following problem multiple times in the last few months and I am hoping for a fix that will prevent this from happening in the future.
I always install MS Windows from a USB setup drive that I create using the Media Creation Tool. During the installation process, I have the setup automatically create the partitions. The problem is that the UEFI partition only gets a size of 100 MB allocated by default. This leads to follow-up problems with updates, e.g. Lenovo BIOS updates, but also Windows 11 upgrades to higher builds.
Therefore, I would kindly ask you to follow your own recommendations (see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/manufacture/desktop/configure-uefigpt-based-hard-drive-partitions?view=windows-11 ) and choose a larger partition size - 300 MB - by default. In my opinion, this will reduce work and trouble down the road.
Thanks a lot.
