Hi Gcreyson.
According to the information published at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-intel-processors, your CPU is not supported by Windows 11.
How did you install Windows 11 on that PC?Bye.
- KaydenyoCopper ContributorStick to the current Windows 11. You can't install new update for unsupported PC.
- NguyenaisBrass Contributorthis is correct. You have to repeat the trick in order to install new updates on unsupported computer.
- EricGarciaCopper ContributorYou need to upgrade your hardware to be compatible with new Win 11.
- KirchhofftCopper ContributorHow did you manage to install Windows 11 on unsupported CPU?
- JulioilCopper ContributorWindows 11 requires the 8th and up Intel CPU. This is the reason why you receive this error message.
- NerfftCopper ContributorWindows 11 requires TPM (Trusted Platform Module) version 2.0. If your PC has an older version or lacks TPM entirely, you will see this warning.
- HarrisarbCopper ContributorYou can buy a new CPU for upgrade. The rest requirements are fine according to Microsoft.
- MohammaddCopper ContributorAdd a new registry entry for bypassing the system requirements during reinstallation. However, this has to be done via clean install. You should back up the data and apps first!
- SmsomeoneCopper ContributorHow to do this? I am interested in upgrading my old PC to Windows 11. Thanks
- HouellebecqCopper ContributorIf you're seeing a message indicating your PC is not compatible with Windows 11, verify that your hardware meets the minimum requirements.
- MasonJacksonCopper ContributorAt least 8th-Gen Intel CPU is required to install Windows 11. This is shown on the Windows 11 product page.
