non-tabbed notepad
The tabbed Notepad drives me crazy. I have tried following a couple of recommended methods of accessing the old one (I hope that means the one in Windows 7 that isn't tabbed) but they don't work for me.

To access it, you can type "Notepad" in the Windows search bar and see if you can find a different version. Sometimes, the default app can be overridden by a more recent update.
