No wifi in the morning
I have a really strange problem with my Lenovo pc 9i, running Win 11 Home.
From 7-8am it cannot access my wifi. The problem may occur again for an hour later in the day, maybe.
My Samsung Tablet, our Pixel phones and my wifes Lenovo 71 all have no problems with the wifi.
I've had the local repair shop look at it. They told me it was a problem with the Nordvpn I was using so I replaced it with Expressvpn. The problem remains.
Last Saturday morning it worked fine all morning, but it had slipped into Airplane Mode.
Those are the clues.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in Advance

- Have you tried uninstalling Nord VPN app?
- How long has this been an issue?
- Was it working fine before?
- Are you facing the same issue with all other Wi-Fi networks?
- Have you uninstalled both Nord VPN and Express VPN or any such third-party VPN apps and checked?
- It could be an issue with the adapter
I have one other suggestion if that doesn't work try reaching out to windows technical support.
As you already switched VPN, resetting network to default might be helpful. A network reset can be performed via Settings app/Network section.

may I ask what steps have you tried?

Windows 11 has a feature that aggressively saves battery by turning off the Wi-Fi adapter when it thinks the computer is inactive. For some reason, on your Lenovo 9i, this "inactivity" period is being triggered by a schedule, most likely in the early morning (7-8 AM). When you manually turned on Airplane Mode last Saturday, it "shocked" the system into resetting the Wi-Fi radio, which is why it worked.

What should I do to eliminate this problem?
