My Wifi Adapter had Suddenly Disappeared
I have Windows 11 on a Dell Inspiron laptop. All of a sudden my Wifi adapter is gone. It was working fine last night and when I woke it up this morning, no Wifi adapter available, only Bluetooth. I have been using a Qualcomm adapter for years without any problems.
I have searched Device Manager and no wireless adapters there, it's listed in the program list in Control Panel. I had uninstalled and reinstalled it, no change.
Any suggestions/comments on how to get it back will be much appreciated.
Thank you.

You mentioned that the adapter was working fine last night. Consider if any recent software or Windows updates occurred that might have affected the driver—sometimes a system restore to a previous point can help.

If it’s an internal adapter, ensure that it hasn't become loose or disconnected physically (this might require opening the laptop, which should be done carefully or by a professional).
Please share your Dell system model name.
Alternatively, you can also download your dedicated WiFi driver for your system model here:

Once the dedicated WiFi driver is properly installed, this issue should be resolved.
