Here, I'd like to share a method with you if Move to iOS not working with cable. This method uses a feature called Device Connect found in some file manager apps on Android. The key advantage is that your iPhone doesn't need to install anything—it just uses its built-in Safari browser.
How It Works if Move to iOS not working with cable:
The Android phone creates a local file server over your Wi-Fi network. Your iPhone connects to that server through Safari, and you can browse, download, and transfer files directly.
On your Android phone:
- Open your file manager app
- Navigate to the menu and select Device Connect or a similar option
- Tap Start or Enable
- Note the web address displayed on your screen—it will look something like http//192.168. 1 .42 :8080
On your iPhone:
- Make sure your iPhone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Android phone
- Open Safari (no other app needed)
- Type the exact web address shown on your Android phone into Safari's address bar
- Tap Go
Transfer your files:
- Your Android phone's file system will appear in Safari on your iPhone
- Tap any file to download it directly to your iPhone
- Use the upload button to send files from your iPhone back to your Android device
