Mouse issues
Hi all. I have a problem where intermittently, and randomly, my mouse pointer 'grabs' items on screen. I am onto my third wireless mouse, I have also tried a wired mouse, and different mouse pads, and still the same. I have checked some mouse settings as advised on other information I have found on the web. Still the same. I don't have my finger anywhere near the buttons when it happens, so am at a loss. Any suggestions?

In Settings > Bluetooth & other devices > Mouse, turn off the options ‘Scroll when hovering over inactive windows’ and ‘Scroll when hovering over inactive windows’.

Try moving other wireless devices, like cordless phones, microwaves, or other wireless mice, away from your work area. Sometimes, these devices can interfere with your mouse's signal, causing erratic behavior.

Dealing with a mouse that seems to have a mind of its own, randomly grabbing and selecting items, is incredibly frustrating. It's good that you've already done the fundamental troubleshooting—trying different mice and mouse pads. This smart approach has helped rule out the most obvious hardware causes. Now, we need to look deeper at the software and settings on your computer itself.

Hi Botty1963
This sounds like "phantom grabbing." Try to see if ClickLock is enabled.. if it is, uncheck the setting as see if it helps :-)
Go to Settings -> Bluetooth & devices -> Mouse.
Click Additional mouse settings.
Under the Buttons tab, look for ClickLock.
Ensure Turn on ClickLock is unchecked.
That would be my first guess
