Mobile Connection Options in Windows 11
I recently switched to Windows 11. There are Phone Link and mobile device integration in File Explorer. Do they replace each other or serve different uses?
They serve different purposes.
Phone Link is for phone features like calls, messages, notifications, and recent photos.
Mobile device integration in File Explorer is mainly for accessing and managing your phone’s files/photos directly in File Explorer.
So, use Phone Link for communication and phone sync, and use File Explorer integration for file management.
