Missing Folders After Windows11 Update

Hello,
I use a 1tb SSD for my operating system, and a separate 2tb SSD for my video storage (D drive).

After the latest Windows11 update - 2025-09 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5065426) (26100.6584), most of the folders are missing from my "D" Drive! - hundreds of hours of videos! The strange thing is that it only deleted select folders, unfortunately those with the highest value content (I have night vision/thermal cameras that operate through sophisticated tracking software to catalog known/unknown objects in the night sky).

Has anyone else experienced this? Can anyone recommend a recovery software to try and recover these file? I have kept this computer off and have not used any software since this occurred last Friday.
