Microsoft, Please...

Microsoft,

After many decades of mostly beneficial Windows use, the current Windows 11 fiasco has placed our household into the scenario to evaluate alternative operating systems.

This is a multifaceted issue as your delivery of Windows 11 with its ridiculous hardware requirements, abysmal reliability, and horrific drop-off in user experience makes it a non-starter for all persons and platforms. Further, the invasion by ads and CoPilot diminished what little affinity remained.

Microsoft is nigh unto becoming irrelevant in next generation of platforms.

I would ask, if Microsoft wants to remain the operating system leader it has enjoyed, that you close the book on Windows 11. Do not fix it. Do not patch it. Do not use it for any offerings going forward.

Microsoft should return to enabling it's users. This means delivering the lightest, cleanest, and must streamlined operating system possible. All additive software is made optional (A.I., games, etc.). IOT LTSC versions are a close approximate.

Also, we are Microsoft users. We do not want Apple. We do not want flat user interfaces.

As of this writing, the next platforms will be Linux or Mac. The clock is ticking...
