Microsoft is removing legacy drivers from Windows Update

Has anyone read the news that MS is reforming driver updates? Could it be true? What do you think? When will it reach the average user?

    If this means an end to stone age gpu drivers, especially for Intel iGPUs, I'll rejoice!
