Right-click on the IMPORTANT FOLDER icon in the taskbar or quick list. Choose Unpin from Quick Access or Remove from Quick List. This will make it go away from that small list.

Turn Quick access suggestions back on (if it’s empty)
- File Explorer → … (three dots) → Options.
- Under General → Privacy, enable:
- Show recently used files
- Show frequently used folders
- Click Clear (to reset history), then OK.

Right-click on an empty area of the desktop, select "Personalize" > "Themes" > "Desktop icon settings", then re-check and apply icons such as "Computer" and "Recycle Bin" to restore them.
