Look for a simple way to convert pdf to image (png/jpg/gif) on Windows PC?

Scroll download the PDF file and take screenshot on it. It will saved as JPG or PNG image. If there are two many pages to be converted, then use a dedicated PDF to Image converter instead. Here is a simple step-by-step tutorial for converting PDF to JPG/PNG/GIF/TIFF: https://www.mobiledic.com/convert-pdf-file-to-images
P.S. The converted images are in high quality and the formattings are well kept!
Windows 11 has a built-in feature called Windows Print Screen that allows you to convert PDF to image on Windows PC. Here's how:
- Open the PDF file in your default PDF viewer.
- Press the Ctrl + P keys to open the Print dialog box.
- Select the Save as type dropdown menu and choose PDF or XPS.
- Click on the Options button and select the Print to file option.
- Choose the desired image format (JPG, PNG, or GIF) and set the resolution to your liking.
- Click Save to save the converted image.

I like your process, but I'm having trouble with the 4th step as I don't know where the "Options Button" is that you speak of. Got any ideas? Email is mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons. Thanks!

In Explorer it says the PDF I wish to convert is a "Microsoft Edge PDF Document, as I use Edge as my default PDF viewer.
When I follow the steps above, I don't see an Option Button that offers to "print to file." Can you help me figure that out?- gpiasseFeb 08, 2025Copper Contributor
Option does not show for me either in Edge or Chrome on Surface Pro running Windows 11.
Ideally, I maintain file size and image quality by exporting, but snipping tool or print screen can workaround in a pinch.
