Look for a safe place for Windows 11 24H2 ISO Download
My PC was upgraded to 25H2 one month ago and I am not satisfied with the new release. My monitor turns black from time to time and unable to fix the issue after days of researching. This has very negative impact for me as it is my working machine. There was no problem at all when running Windows 11 24H2 on this device.
However, the Windows 11 download page only holds download for 25H2 ISO image. Does anyone know a safe place to download Windows 11 24H2 ISO image so I can downgrade from 25H2 to 24H2?

* Pre-release versions: Insider builds are early versions of Windows that include upcoming features and updates before they are officially released.
* Availability: If 24H2 is the current stable release, the official ISO for that version should be available directly from Microsoft without needing Insider access.
* Insider channels: To get Insider preview ISO images, you must join the Windows Insider Program and select a channel (Dev, Beta, or Release Preview). These are primarily for testing and may be unstable.

Looking for a safe place for Windows 11 24H2 ISO download. If you're considering downgrading or reinstalling Windows 11 24H2, you can download the official ISO file for free from Microsoft's website. Here's how you can do it:
1. Visit the official Microsoft Download Windows 11 page: Download Windows 11
2. Scroll down to the "Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO)" section.
3. Click on the "Download" button, select the edition (Windows 11), and choose the language.
4. Choose the 24H2 version if available, or download the latest stable ISO, which should be close to 24H2.
5. Once downloaded, you can create a bootable USB drive using tools like Rufus to install or reinstall Windows 11 24H2.
Important: Ensure you back up your data before proceeding with any reinstallation or downgrade.
If you want a specific Windows 11 24H2 ISO download, sometimes older ISOs are available through third-party sites, but be cautious to avoid unofficial or unsafe sources. Always prefer official Microsoft downloads for security and stability.

If you need an official, untouched Windows 11 ISO (such as 24H2) and want to avoid community-built images, the Microsoft Visual Studio Subscriptions portal is one of the most reliable options. Microsoft usually keeps older Windows releases archived for developers and IT professionals.
The ISOs provided here are exactly the same official media Microsoft distributes internally—no modifications, no repackaging. It makes this method ideal for testing, reinstallation, or compatibility work. The only drawback is that it requires a paid subscription.
How to Download Windows 11 24H2 ISO
1. Sign in to visualstudio.microsoft.com using a Microsoft account that has an active Visual Studio subscription (Professional, Enterprise, or MSDN).
2. After logging in, open the Downloads section from the subscription dashboard.
3. In the search box, type “Windows 11” to filter available operating systems.
4. Look for Windows 11 (Version 24H2) or a specific build number (for example, build 26100.x).
5. Select the correct edition (Consumer / Business / Enterprise) and language you need.
6. Click Download to get the ISO file directly from Microsoft’s servers.
7. Optionally, verify the SHA-256 checksum shown on the page to ensure file integrity.
8. Use the downloaded ISO to create a bootable USB (with tools like Rufus or Media Creation Tool) or mount it directly for setup.
Using Visual Studio / MSDN for Windows 11 24H2 ISO download is one of the safest and most authoritative ways to obtain older Windows 11 versions like 24H2, because the ISOs are fully official and archived by Microsoft. It’s especially suitable for developers, testers, and IT users who need precise version control. However, since it requires a paid subscription, most home users may prefer alternatives like UUP-based ISO creation instead.

Microsoft has moved on to Windows 11 25H2. That is why you can't download Windows 11 24H2 ISO image from Microsoft website.
Microsoft’s official Windows 11 download page now focuses on the latest version, 25H2, and so the ISO selector may only show 25H2 rather than 24H2. Official ISO downloads tend to be updated to offer the newest release, and older media isn’t always listed prominently once a newer version is out.
In practice, after a newer major version is released (like 25H2), Microsoft may remove or de-prioritize direct access to the previous version's ISO from the public download site. It’s part of their normal lifecycle; they want most users on the newer build for security and support reasons.
What you can do if you really need 24H2
If Microsoft’s download page no longer shows a 24H2 ISO:
Use Microsoft’s Media Creation Tool — it can generate an ISO and sometimes allows choosing older builds while connected to the official servers.
Check Microsoft Visual Studio / MSDN subscriber downloads if you have a subscription — older versions are often archived there.
Use a tool like UUP Dump to build a 24H2 ISO by pulling official files from Microsoft and creating your own image. (This still uses Microsoft’s source files but is a more advanced method.)
