Load Battlefield42 then minimizes

Been playing BF42 without issues for decades until 2 weeks ago, when I came across a weird problem. I will load BF42, and it will minimize to the desktop "small black screen top left." If I press ALT+Tab, then I'm on the server screen, and I can load into servers to play.

Any help would be appreciated

    Check Run this program in compatibility mode for and choose an older Windows version.
