Left Mouse Button Not Working Well While Playing Games

I'm on a MSI Laptop MS-1563 and have an odd issue I can't for the life of me troubleshoot. My left mouse button to shoot will work and then stop a second later. I know it's not my mouse because the trackpad has the same issue, and my mouse works fine when not in a game. For some reason rebinding it to another mouse button allows it to work. I've tried messing with the double-click and ClickLock settings with no luck as well as clearing the %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations files, making sure my drivers are up to date and uninstalling all the bloatware that might be messing with it.

Thanks in advance,

Sam

    1. Quick troubleshooting steps
     Basic check
Change mouse test (to confirm whether it is a hardware problem)
Change USB port (to avoid poor contact)
Turn off the “Mouse Acceleration” option in the game.
     Driver update
Device Manager > Mouse and other pointer devices
Right click to update driver > Auto Search
    2. Game Exclusive Fixes
     Turn off Game Mode
Settings > Game > Game Mode > Off
    Restart the game to test
    Adjust mouse returns
Download mouse vendor software (e.g. Logitech G Hub)
Reduce Polling Rate to 500Hz (high return rates may conflict)
     Disable full screen optimization
Right-click the game shortcut > Properties
Compatibility > Check “Disable full-screen optimization”
    3. System-level adjustments
     Power Management
Control Panel > Power Options > High Performance
USB Settings > Uncheck “Allow computer to turn off this device to save power”
    Registry Repair (anti-double-click failure)
    Press Win+R and type regedit
    Navigate to:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse
DoubleClick DoubleClickSpeed > value to 500 (reduce double-click sensitivity)
    4. Ultimate Solution
    Reinstall the mouse driver
Device Manager > Uninstall Mouse Device (Check “Remove Driver”)
Unplug the mouse and reinstall it automatically
     System Restore
    Search for “Create Restore Point”
Select the date before the problem occurred to restore
