Laptop Keyboard Becomes Inactive After Re-Boot
I have a 2021 Legion/Lenovo laptop. After installing new Windows 11 updates my laptop keyboard becomes unable to type. I took recommendations I found online and discovered that going to "Device Manager" I could un-install my keyboard. I did so uninstalling both listings under keyboard. I re-booted my computer and my keyboard began to work again. This problem re-appears after every Shutdown now. Is there a way to permanently fix this issue? I should not need to purchase a new computer because of this. Best, Timmo
Sometimes, Lenovo laptops come with software for managing keyboard functionality. Check Lenovo’s Vantage application (if you have it installed) to see if there’s any keyboard-related settings or updates available.
