Laptop Keyboard Becomes Inactive After Re-Boot

I have a 2021 Legion/Lenovo laptop. After installing new Windows 11 updates my laptop keyboard becomes unable to type. I took recommendations I found online and discovered that going to "Device Manager" I could un-install my keyboard. I did so uninstalling both listings under keyboard. I re-booted my computer and my keyboard began to work again. This problem re-appears after every Shutdown now. Is there a way to permanently fix this issue? I should not need to purchase a new computer because of this. Best, Timmo

  • Sometimes, Lenovo laptops come with software for managing keyboard functionality. Check Lenovo’s Vantage application (if you have it installed) to see if there’s any keyboard-related settings or updates available.
