Java and Windows

I install Java, for a customs software (vpn from checkpoint, but I don't think it's essential), the same version as on 1000 other computers, and when I launch it in the browser it tells me that I don't have Java installed.

    Many modern browsers have dropped support for Java applets altogether. If the software is legacy and relies on Java applets, consider using Internet Explorer or IE Mode in Edge.
