Issue with restart every time I update?
Every time I run an update for Windows 10 my computer throws a yellow led on the mb and I have to hard restart. After the reset it will finish update and run normally. Does anyone have any insight?
My only idea is maybe I need to update the MB bios but I am not very experienced with software and I am too scared to brick or corrupt my PC.

I recommend you run the Diagnostics option from the BIOS menu. Restart the computer and press F12 [for Dell's] (might be a different F-key on your model) when you first see the logo. You should soon see a BIOS menu with itemized choices; one will be diagnostics (worded differently for many models but all are similar). Select it and have it do either a full or quick scan. In your case I recommend a full scan. Might take 30 minutes or so to complete. At the end you'll see a report. If there's a problem with the motherboard or a component it'll state so.
If it comes out with no findings, exit so it boots to the login screen, login and then open CMD as an administrator (right-click on CMD and select "Run as administrator"). type the following and press Enter: SFC /scannow. Once it completes you'll see a short report of the results. Next, type the following and press Enter: CHKDSK /f /r. It will prompt you with a message that it can't scan whiles some files are locked and ask if you want to run it at the next restart/reboot. Type Y and exit CMD. Restart the computer and allow it to run. It may take a while. Once it's complete it, too, may display a short report if there's a problem. Otherwise it will boot to the login screen. Login and see if the problem reoccurs.
