Is it ok to run large software at same time?

Have 16gigs of ram, is it okay to run davinci resolve 19 and games (for example red dead redemption 2) at same time? But I prefer not to get a bsod. This is a laptop. Windows 11.

  • When RAM is full, Windows starts using a portion of your SSD/HDD as "virtual memory" (the page file). This is significantly slower than RAM, causing major slowdowns, stuttering, and unresponsiveness.

When both applications are competing for limited RAM, the system will start using the page file on your hard drive (virtual memory). This is much slower than RAM and will significantly impact performance, leading to stuttering, freezing, and unresponsiveness.
