In Windows 11, why doesn’t pinning a sticky note to a specific desktop minimize it?
I need a sticky note tool that can be pinned to a specific virtual desktop. Requirements:
1. It must remain pinned to that virtual desktop at all times and not follow when switching to other desktops;
2. It must stay in the background or remain on top, without interfering with other operations;
3. It must not automatically minimize when the Show Desktop button on the taskbar is clicked.
I have tried several sticky note apps, but none can meet all of the above requirements. Please recommend a tool that meets these criteria.

OneNote is a powerful note-taking app that can be used as a sticky note tool. You can create a new note and pin it to a specific desktop by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting "Show desktop 1/2/3" (replace with your desktop number). However, you'll need to configure OneNote to stay on top and not minimize when the Show Desktop button is clicked.

You can use a third-party Always on Top feature and disable the Minimize all windows when the Show Desktop button is used option in the taskbar settings.

Use the desktop version of Microsoft Sticky Notes, combined with the “Always on Top” feature in PowerToys, and disable the “Minimize all windows when the Show Desktop button is used” option in Taskbar settings.
