Importing tracks I record in a project with the same settings and BPM don't line up

Even though your new guitar tracks start at zero, the rest of your project is being delayed by the computer’s processing power to accommodate those plugins . When you drag the new guitar in, it plays immediately (at the true zero point), but the drums play slightly late. This creates the illusion that your guitar is "slightly off beat."
