I can't mirror or connect ipad to pc wirelessly on windows 11
Based on your setup, here are some potential reasons why your iPad might not be able to connect iPad to PC wirelessly:
1. Windows 11's screen mirroring limitation: Windows 11 doesn't support screen mirroring from iOS devices (like your iPad) out of the box. This is because iOS devices use a proprietary protocol called AirPlay, which is not natively supported by Windows.
2. PC's discoverability: As I mentioned earlier, you need to enable the Discoverable option on your PC. However, this might not be enough, as Windows 11 has some additional requirements for screen mirroring.
3. 5GHz Wi-Fi network: While you mentioned that both devices are connected to the same 5GHz Wi-Fi network, it's possible that the network is not properly configured for screen mirroring. Try switching to a different network or restarting your router to see if that resolves the issue.
4. iPad's screen mirroring restrictions: Apple has some restrictions on screen mirroring from iOS devices, including limitations on the types of devices that can receive mirrored content. While your PC might be capable of receiving screen mirroring, it might not meet Apple's requirements.
5. Additional requirements: Some Windows 11 features, including screen mirroring, require additional setup or configuration. Try enabling the Project to this PC feature on your Windows 11 PC, and see if that makes a difference.
To overcome these limitations, you can try the following:
Use a Chromecast or Google Home: If you have a Chromecast or Google Home device, you can use it as a wireless screen mirroring receiver or connect iPad to PC wirelessly on your PC.
