This is a very common situation. Since your computer is equipped with an Intel Core i5-6500 processor, which is an officially unsupported model, it cannot automatically receive the 25H2 update via Windows Update. The good news is that you can update Windows 11 to 25H2 manually.
- Visit the official Microsoft Windows 11 download page. Select Download Windows 11 disk image → Windows 11. Choose your language, click Confirm, then select 64-bit Download.
- Save important files to an external hard drive or cloud storage to prevent loss.
- Right-click the downloaded ISO file and select Mount. A virtual drive will appear.
- Open the virtual drive and double-click setup.exe.
- When the This PC cannot run Windows 11 message appears, press Shift + F10 to open Command Prompt. Enter the code below, replacing 0 with 1.
- Press Enter, then close the Command Prompt.
- Click the back arrow (←) in the top-left corner of the installation window, follow the prompts, and wait through multiple reboots to complete the upgrade. After logging in, you'll be on the 25H2 version.
Following these steps will safely and successfully upgrade your Windows 11 laptop to the latest version.
