Great article and very well-explained steps by rahulkhorwal! I’ve found it super helpful for understanding the process. I have also recovered the image of my site - https://escortseo.uk , suddenly, all my images and text disappeared. Thankfully all are recovered. However, I do have a couple of questions:
Are there any free tools you recommend for screenshot? - DkmmachineryCopper Contributor
Screenshots are such a handy feature on Windows 10! Personally, I’ve found the PrtScn key perfect for quick, full-screen captures, but when I need more flexibility, tools like Snip & Sketch are a lifesaver. It’s great to see how Windows offers so many options for taking screenshots to fit different needs.

I totally agree with Fonceca as the built-in snipping tool does not support scrolling window. It also does not have lacks advanced editing options like annotations, effects, or cropping tools that are found in dedicated screenshot software. This is why a lot of Windows 10 user seeking alternative tools for taking advanced screenshots in Windows 10.

Honestly, the built-in screenshot tool is not a good option as it lacks editing features. In fact, we need to edit the screenshot when it is finished. For me, my favorite app is Snip-Taker app. You can take customize size screenshot and most importantly, it comes a very powerful image editing tools. Hi,
Thank you for trying to help, but I don't have some of the keys you mentioned. That is my problem. I guess I need a more advanced keyboard, being that I am 85 years old. Maybe they didn't have screenshots back then. 🙂

Kamendant224475 Hi, the problem is that I dont have a screenshot key on my keyboard. Thank you 🙂
- Melody_TaiCopper ContributorI like Snipping Tool, but Snipping Tool is missing on my work computer. I have no idea why. I tried a few fixes but nothing worked. I have to use a third-party tool to take screenshots.
- Zigurd2175Copper ContributorIf you don't have Snipping Tool, you can use the Snip & Sketch on Windows 10 and 11.
