How to open the specific widget in stead of the full control panel?

How can I set it up so that when I open the panel, it takes me directly to my Widgets instead of going to Source, where there are many other widgets? I’d like to avoid needing to click on Widgets each time I open the panel.

  • Windows 11 doesn’t have an option to open the panel directly to Widgets. The quickest fix is to pin the Widgets you use most so they’re always at the top. It’s not perfect, but it saves a bit of time! Fingers crossed they update this soon.

Currently, Windows 11 doesn’t let you skip directly to Widgets, but a workaround is to use the Win + W shortcut. This opens the Widgets panel directly, so you can bypass extra clicks. It’s not exactly a settings tweak, but it works!

Unfortunately, Windows 11 doesn’t let you set Widgets as the default view when opening the panel. It always starts at the Source page. A workaround is to pin your favorite Widgets to the top, so they’re easier to access without extra clicks! Hopefully, Microsoft adds this feature in the future. 😊
