Depending on the device you're using, you may need specific software. For example, if you're using Windows 10 or 11, you can use the built-in Connect app to project your screen. If you're using a program like Scrcpy (great for Android mirroring), make sure it's installed correctly and that the correct drivers are installed. I once overlooked this and spent ages figuring out why my screen wouldn't show up!

Sometimes, to mirror Pixel to PC, if you're connected via USB, you'll need to enable USB debugging in the Developer Options on your Pixel. If you don't have this set up, your PC won't recognize your phone. Go to Settings > About phone > Tap Build number seven times to unlock Developer options, then go back to find USB debugging.

Now, if you’re running Windows 10 or 11, here’s a quick way to mirror Pixel to PC using the Microsoft Connect app:

  1. Open the Connect app on your Windows PC. You can search for it in the Start Menu.
