Why would an old Outlook .pst Data File modify itself?
Today when booting up my PC I noticed an old Outlook .pst Data File saved on my desktop had modified itself (per it being at the top of the date column in the Desktop folder).
What would cause a .pst file modification when not the user?
My laptop does not have any authorised remote access and only used by myself with Administrative rights.

Check if auto-archiving is enabled in Outlook. Then use SCANPST.EXE to repair PST file errors. Disable third, party plugins and synchronization software. If the problem persists, migrate the PST data to a new file.
