    I totally get it, I made the same mistake myself once! I used a free tool called Dr.Partition to easily drag and resize my partitions without losing any data on my D drive. It was way easier than I expected and saved me from a full Windows reinstall.

JakeChail  Based on the information, it seems there is much free space in D drive. With the help of partition management software, you are able to increase C drive space from D drive in Windows 11. Unfortunately, the stock Disk Management utility can't do that in this way.

 

How to increase C drive space from D drive in Windows 11:

 

  1. Launch the software and view your disk layout.
  2. Right-click on the D drive and select Resize/Move.
  3. Shrink the D drive by dragging the slider to free up.
  4. Drag the slider to extend the C drive into the unallocated space.
  5. Click Apply to execute the changes.
