If you came cross the error msg saying This PC can't be upgraded to this version of Windows 11, you need to check the TPM & Secure Boot settings and turn them on your PC.
Verify TPM and Secure Boot
- Press Windows + R, type msinfo32, and press Enter.
- Look for "TPM" under "System Summary." If it says "Not Available" or "Version 1.2," your PC doesn't meet the TPM requirement.
Turn on TPM
To enable TPM, restart your PC and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings (usually by pressing F2, F10, DEL, or ESC during boot). Look for a TPM or Security tab and enable TPM 2.0.
Turn on Secure Boot
- Enter the BIOS/UEFI settings as described above.
- Look for a "Secure Boot" option in the Security or Boot tab and enable it.
TPM and Secure Boot are two important hardware requirements for Windows 11. Once you have them enabled, it is highly possible to fix this PC can't be upgraded to this version of Windows 11.
