How to easily trim audio files on Windows 11 PC?
Using OneDrive Audio Player to mark trim points is a temporary solution, especially for those who don't want to install new software. You just need to upload the audio file to OneDrive and play it with its online player. While playing, you can record the start and end time of the part you want to trim. Although this method does not directly modify the audio file, it can help you find the exact part you need to trim for further editing. This is a simpler way, but if you need to trim audio file frequently, you may find it a bit troublesome.
The steps to mark and record trim points using OneDrive Audio Player are as follows:
- Open a browser, visit the OneDrive website and log in to your Microsoft account.
- In the OneDrive interface, select the "Upload" button, then select "File", find the audio file you want to upload and upload it.
- After uploading, click the audio file you just uploaded and it will automatically play in OneDrive's audio player.
- While the audio is playing, listen carefully and record the start and end time of the part you want to trim. You can write it down with pen and paper, or use the notepad app on your computer.
- Once you have the specific time points you need to trim, you can use these time points to trim in any audio editing software that supports precise time input.
This method mainly helps you find the audio segment that needs to be trimmed accurately, so that you can use more professional tools to edit it later. Although it is a bit cumbersome, it is a good choice for users who do not often process audio.
