How to disable windows update?

If you're trying to stop Windows Updates from automatically installing, then here's what to do:
Pause Updates Temporarily:Settings > Windows Update > Pause updates
Not enough for big projects that requires it to delay it for several days. I would rather live without update and take the risk.

Usually, updates are there to keep your system safe and secure, hence it is not recommended to turn them off.
Because windows update is the biggest threat to running a stable windows. So many times it have just made a random update + reboot when you have tons of unsaved stuff open cause you to loose many hours of work. Tonight it decided to update and reboot white I was training some AI which have been running for 5 days and was about 80% done. NO malware or virus have caused this much problem for me ever! I would rather take my chance with a virus instead of being subjected to any more forced update crap.
