How to disable login on startup screen
New install of Win 11 Pro 24H2 yesterday. The option box to bypass sign in on startup seems to no longer exist. On the Accounts>Sign-in Options page, there are just a list of ways to sign in. I'm using a PIN right now. If I click Remove on it, does that eliminate it generally or only on computer startup. The page is confusing.

Since you're using a PIN, and the "Require sign-in" setting isn't showing the option to completely bypass sign-in, you can set up automatic login so that Windows skips the login prompt altogether.

On Windows 11 24H2, the old “auto-login” checkbox is gone. To bypass the startup sign-in, use netplwiz:
1.Press Win + R, type netplwiz, and hit Enter.
2.Select your account and uncheck “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer”.
3.Enter your password to confirm.
Removing your PIN only deletes that sign-in method; it doesn’t automatically enable auto-login.
