For printed notes, textbook pages, or other photographed material, Google Lens can recognize the text before reading it aloud.
- Take a clear photo of the page.
- Open the image in Google Photos and tap Lens, or open Lens from the Google app.
- Choose Text.
- Tap Select all or select the required passage.
- Tap Listen when that option is available.
Google Lens is useful for short printed passages that cannot be copied normally. Recognition accuracy depends on image quality, handwriting, page layout, and language, so important study material should be checked against the original text.
