How to convert PDF to JPG
You need one JPG per PDF page, predictable quality, optional resolution control, no watermark, and reliable multi-page processing. Windows 11 does not include a supported batch PDF-to-JPG exporter, and Microsoft Edge’s PDF viewer is not a DPI-controlled image converter. For an occasional screen-use page, open the PDF at the desired zoom, use Snipping Tool’s rectangular capture, crop and Save As JPEG. This produces only screen resolution, so it is unsuitable for print or archival conversion. For many pages or a specified resolution, use a trusted desktop converter that supports page-by-page export and test one page containing small text and graphics. Microsoft’s image guidance treats 96 PPI as sufficient for online viewing and 200–300 PPI as appropriate for commercial color printing. Keep the original PDF, compare page count and orientation, and inspect fine text before deleting anything. Avoid web converters for confidential documents unless your organization has approved the service.
