How to change the network connection from wifi to ethernet?
I have a Google WiFi extender, and I have a CAT6 Ethernet cable, but it still says I'm connected to the WiFi. I built the PC myself, so I might have messed something up, but I don't think that's the issue. I've tried switching from the grey thing that looks like this and the blue wifi symbol but neither change anything. Does anyone know how to fix this?

If your PC recognizes the Ethernet connection but still shows Wi-Fi as active, Windows may be trying to use both. Disabling Wi-Fi as shown above will force Ethernet use.

Disabling Wi-Fi in Settings → Network and Internet and plugging in the cable will automatically switch to a wired connection.
