I Have 4 Methods To change the brightness of your screen in Windows 11, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Using the Quick Settings Menu
Click on the Windows icon in the taskbar or press the Windows key on your keyboard to open the Start menu.
In the lower-left corner of the Start menu, you'll see a series of quick settings icons. Look for the "Brightness" icon, which resembles a sun.
Click on the "Brightness" icon to open the brightness slider.
Drag the slider left or right to decrease or increase the brightness of your screen.
Method 2: Using the Action Center
Click on the notification icon in the system tray (it looks like a speech bubble) or press Windows key + A on your keyboard to open the Action Center.
In the Action Center, you'll see a "Quick Settings" section at the top. Find the "Brightness" slider.
Adjust the slider to change the screen brightness to your desired level.
Method 3: Using Keyboard Shortcuts (if available)
Some laptops have dedicated function keys for adjusting screen brightness. Look for icons on your keyboard that resemble a sun or a light bulb, often with up and down arrows. You can usually adjust brightness using these keys by pressing them along with the "Fn" key.
Method 4: Using Display Settings
Right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings" from the context menu.
In the Display settings window, scroll down to the "Brightness and color" section.
You'll find a brightness slider here. Adjust it to change the screen brightness.
Please note that the availability of these methods may vary depending on your hardware and system settings. If you're unable to adjust the brightness using these methods, you may need to update your display drivers or consult your PC's manufacturer for specific guidance.

It appears you're referring to a Notebook/Laptop?
On a Windows 11 PC, Action Centre no longer exists and none of the settings you mention (apparently) do either.
To adjust screen brightness on any desktop using a SmartTV simply adjust using the remote.
For using a computer monitor I have absolutely no idea.
- John_BarberSurgeonOct 28, 2023Copper ContributorCorrect, I'm on an HP Laptop. The Action Centre does not have any of the options oceanofgadgets9028 mentioned. When I'm connected up to a monitor the image on the monitor is fine, but the whole point of a laptop is that it shouldn't need to be connected to a monitor.
Do you know that, Pernille-Eskebo?- wpmetadataNov 13, 2023Copper Contributor
I don't want to discourage anyone, but there's no option to get the slider back now. Stop wasting your time. Updating Windows or display drivers won't help either. Sorry to say this.
