The fact that Windows 11 Desktop doesn't allow adjusting the display brightness is the reason we all ended up in this dead-end thread. MS, for whatever reason they came up with, removed the slider from this version of Windows. Forcing us to use the monitor buttons doesn't improve the user experience; it does the opposite.
12CAA It doesn't make sense that they are trying to force us to use the monitor brightness controls. After all, what's the point of a laptop...?
