Casting your Android phone to your Windows 11 PC can enhance your viewing experience, allowing you to easily interact with apps, stream videos, and share content. Windows 11 comes with a built-in app called Phone Link (formerly Your Phone) that allows you to cast Android phone to PC. Here's how to set it up:
1. Install Phone Link on your PC:
- Make sure your Windows 11 PC is updated.
- Search for Phone Link in the Start menu and open it.
2. Set up on Android:
- On your Android phone, download and install the Link to Windows app from the Google Play Store (if it is not pre-installed).
- Open the app and sign in with your Microsoft account.
3. Connect your device:
- Follow the prompts in the Phone Link app on your PC. This may include scanning a QR code or entering a code displayed on your PC.
- Make sure both your PC and Android phone are on the same Wi-Fi network for this to work seamlessly.
4. Grant permissions:
- You will be prompted to grant various permissions on your phone (for calls, messages, and notifications). Allowing these permissions enables full functionality.
5. Start Casting:
- Once set up, you can view notifications, messages, calls, and even use mobile apps directly on your PC.
