How to Bypass windows 11 compatibility check for CPU and TPM 2.0
"Hybrid Windows 10/11 USB" Method is another obscure, registry-free method discussed in the Dell community forums. It involves tricking the installer by creating a hybrid bootable USB.
The Trick: You use a Windows 10 installation USB (which has no strict requirements) and replace its large installation file (install.esd or install.wim) with the one from a Windows 11 ISO .
Here are the steps to bypass Windows 11 compatibility check, based on community-tested methods:
1. Create a Windows 10 USB Drive: Use the official Windows 10 Media Creation Tool to create a bootable USB drive . This drive will serve as the base for the hybrid installation media.
2. Obtain the Windows 11 Installation File: Download the official Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft. Mount it (by double-clicking it in File Explorer) and navigate to the sources folder .
3. Copy the Core Installation File: Within the sources folder of the Windows 11 ISO, locate the file install.esd (or install.wim depending on the ISO version) and copy it .
4. Replace the File on the USB Drive: Navigate to the sources folder on your Windows 10 USB drive. Delete the existing install.esd (or install.wim) file and paste the one you copied from the Windows 11 ISO .
When you swap it into the Windows 10 USB environment, the installer no longer performs the same level of checks, allowing you to bypass Windows 11 compatibility check on unsupported hardware .
Note: This method may require formatting the USB drive to NTFS if the Windows 11 file exceeds 4GB (the FAT32 limit) . This approach is less common and more of a "hack" than the DISM method.
