Sometimes, the software isn’t perfectly compatible with both the old and new systems, especially if you’re going to transfer everything from old computer to new computer, I’ve had moments where certain applications didn’t transfer correctly or, worse, didn’t work at all on the new machine.
Depending on how much stuff you have to transfer, the process can take a long time. I once tried to move a whole bunch of files and settings, and it felt like I was waiting forever.
