There are so many facebook video downloader options out there and I spent hours to find a working one in 2025. In fact, many of them are not working anymore. AllClipDown is my favorite app for bulk download facebook videos in HD formats.
I followed this guide (works great)

And already downloaded more than 200 facebook videos on my Windows PC.

As far as I know, Facebook doesn't provide a built-in option to download videos directly. However, you can try these methods.
Method 1: Save Facebook video with View Page Source
- Open the Facebook video you want to save.
- Right-click on the video and select "Show video URL" or copy the video URL from the address bar.
- Open a new tab, paste the URL, and replace "www" or "web" with "mbasic" like this:
- Original: https://www.facebook.com/watch?v=XXXXXXXX
- Modified: https://mbasic.facebook.com/watch?v=XXXXXXXX
- Press Enter to load the mobile version.
- Click on the video to play it in full screen.
- Right-click the video and select "Save Video As" to download it.
Method 2: Download Facebook Video with Developer Tool.
- Open the video on Facebook.
- Press F12 or Ctrl + Shift + I (Windows) or Cmd + Option + I (Mac) to open Developer Tools.
- Go to the Network tab and click Media.
- Play the video, and look for a .mp4 link in the list.
- Right-click the link, select "Open in new tab", then right-click and choose "Save video as...".
Let me know if you need a more specific facebook video downloader method based on your device and browser!
