How Do I Convert WebP to PNG on Windows 11?
- Sep 19, 2024
As a designer, I often need to convert images, and Any2Pic has been my go-to for tasks like WebP to PNG conversions. It’s offline, which keeps things secure, and it’s quick and easy for handling batches without losing quality. Just load up the images, set the output, and it’s done—super reliable for all the projects I’m working on!
I followed this tutoiral ( works for me)

PowerToys is a free tool set provided by Microsoft, which includes a feature called "Image Resizer" that supports batch conversion of image formats. All you need to do is install PowerToys, right-click and select multiple WebP images, and use the Image Resizer to convert WebP to PNG.
The specific steps are as follows:
- Download and install PowerToys: If you haven't installed PowerToys yet, go to Microsoft's GitHub to download the latest version and install it.
- Select images: Open your folder, select all the WebP images you want to convert, and right-click them.
- Select "Resize pictures": In the right-click menu, you will see an option called "Resize pictures", click it.
- Set the format: A window will pop up, which is used to adjust the image size by default. Click "Advanced options" in the lower right corner, and then select PNG in the "File format" section.
- Click Save: After setting the format, click the "Resize" button to batch convert these images.
Disadvantages: Although this method is very suitable for batch processing and will not affect the quality of the image, it has a small disadvantage, that is, it is mainly a resizing tool, and the setting process is a little hidden, not as intuitive as a dedicated image conversion tool.
In addition, if there are a lot of images, it may take some time, but the advantage is that you don't need to connect to the Internet or download additional software.
