  • Hi,

If you want to remove the watermark of Windows build do the following:

    • Open Registry editor (regedit.exe)
    • go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
    • look for DWORD value of PaintDesktopVersion
    • restart PC to make changes appear

If value is 1 it will show the watermark with build. If value is 0 it should be hidden.

    Best regards.

To help you effectively, could you clarify what exactly you'd like to remove from your Windows 11 desktop? Are you referring to:

    • An icon or shortcut
    • A specific widget or app
    • A desktop background or overlay
    • A taskbar item
    • A file or folder

Some updates may not be removable if they are deemed critical or if the system prevents their removal.

After uninstalling, monitor for stability issues or the reinstallation of the update during subsequent updates.
