How can I create a full system backup for Windows 11 computer?

The most reliable way to create a full system backup on Windows 11 is to use the built-in System Image Backup tool. This creates a complete copy of your Windows installation, programs, settings, and files, which can be restored in case of system failure.
Steps to create a system image in Windows 11:
- Connect your external HDD (e.g. your 4TB drive).
- In the search box, type Control Panel and open it.
- Go to System and Security > Backup and Restore (Windows 7).
- In the left panel, click Create a system image.
- Choose your external HDD as the destination.
- Select the drives you want to back up (usually C: where Windows is installed).
- Click Start backup and let Windows create the image.
Important notes:
- You can also create a System Repair Disc or Recovery Drive to boot from and restore the backup if your PC won’t start.
- This method is free, built into Windows, and works well for most users.
