How can I create a full system backup for Windows 11 computer?

I have similar question here, looking for "best" solution.  What I want to do is create a one-time backup image and save it to a USB drive along with everything else I would need on it to boot up from it and restore the image of a working win11 system.  What I used to do with Ghost years ago.

Basically I have setup windows exactly right with many little tweaks, settings and a handful of critical apps.  Great, in the future if something happens to corrupt the windows install for any reason, I want to wipe the drive and restore this image to get back to a fresh starting point, run windows update from there and move on.  I don't care about regular backups of user data that is handled another way.  This is just to restore a clean working windows system.

so what is the best software for creating this kind of image today in 2025, preferably free.  And able to stash  any needed software and image onto a bootable USB which I can then insert into a system I want to restore, boot from it, wipe the old partition and restore the image.????
