To convert jpg to icon, while GM is great for basic conversions, if you want to do any fancy stuff like resizing, adding effects, or advanced editing, you'll have to jump through more hoops or use additional tools. I often find myself needing to tweak images a bit before converting, and with GM, I had to go through extra steps.
If you're converting a lot of files, managing the input and output paths can get annoying. You have to be careful about where your files are going or it can get messy. I remember trying to batch convert a bunch of images and ended up with files scattered all over my folders—definitely a headache!
