How can I convert autocad dwg to pdf on Windows 11?
I have a couple of autocad design dwg files but but Windows 11 doesn't open DWG files natively which has made this more complicated than expected. The files contain technical drawings and the PDF out...
Windows 11 does not natively open or convert DWG files, so without installing software you would need to use a browser-based DWG viewer or online conversion service.
For simple files, uploading the DWG and exporting it as PDF may work. However, for technical drawings, you should carefully check the output because scale, line weights, fonts, layouts, layers, and external references may not always be preserved correctly.
If accuracy matters, use a web-based CAD viewer that supports proper plot/export settings, or ask the file creator to export the PDF from their CAD software.
